We quickly swapped out this leaking Combimate, as a matter of emergency, when both mains stop taps wouldn't shut off. Live water fixes like this are considerably easier with the press tool. 👌

We will be back to add a scale inhibitor at the earliest convenience and contact Wessex Water to fix the faulty stop tap. 💪

We've incorporated east access to this mains lever valve within the plinth. Which is neatly hidden from a standing position.

Quick update for this cloakroom. With new Karndean flooring, Instinct vanity unit and rimless pan. We also fitted a new window board and trim to replace the existing tiled reveals.

The client has opted to decorate before the tiled splashback is fitted.

New kitchen tap, with new isolation valves, pressure reducing valve and pipework tidied up. We've also removed the leaking Combimate at the same time.

I used to practise on the scrap pile as an apprentice, now I try a few multi bends now and then to ensure I don't lose it.

Out with the old, in with the new. Brought up to regs with safety cut off zone valve and lagging. With easy future fault diagnosis, due to pressure gauges up and downstream of the inlet control valve.
