Believe it or not we are in early Spring! So I'm starting to feed. Feeding the lawn first, then when the temperature rises consistently; over seeding and sand. Early flowering plants and shrubs also get their first feed. 😁

Good weather makes all the difference when working in a garden! Especially when planting large, established trees with big root balls. Lots of digging today to get these beauties in 💪. Adding more character but to still keep a natural look to a large landscape. Looking forward to watching these grow and mature 😁

Put this up temporarily to protect the Junipers from the wind during the winter. If it works will be thinking of something more permanent and tie in with the existing wall and theme.

Good day yesterday coppicing this 100+ year old Hazel. It was planted in 1913 as part of a nut walk for the property next door, this one Is the last remaining one! Great to be part of something that has been around for so long. This will shoot up this growing season and start producing nuts next season which is mostly enjoyed by the wildlife in the garden. I always try and reuse garden waste wether it's composted or put aside for using in other aspects of managing a garden. This time I utilised the fresh supleness of the the lengths by weaving them through the base of the hedgerow.

Pathway and steps created to provide another entrance into the garden of one of my regular customers. Was a good challenge to merge the new in with the old existing aspects of this area. All finished off with sun loving plants! Looking forward to tending to it and watching it flourish.

Replacement of some slippery timber steps recently. Just earth and granite carefully placed to create a more natural look!
