We have been super busy lately, Over at Swaylands estate penshurst.

A mix of garage doors, Over 40 light posts and some lock up sheds. Exterior stain work at its finest!

The garages was a real pleasure to do. Sanding them back down and applying sikkens extol plus HLS base coat first. Finishing with x2 coats off sikkens cetol filter 7 light oak.
I hope you can agree a factory finish by hand 🧑‍🎨

Light posts all dotted around the estate, have also been sanded back and then base coats applied.
Finishing with dark palisander Sadolin x2 coats, steadiness around the signature was the aim of the game 🖌️

Gardeners lock up sheds were also stained in sikkens, to ensure life and durability once prepped and primed.

It’s been lovely working on this estate, and it’s led to more work on internal and external work for clients who reside here.

Another interior we completed in 2026!

Skimming stone on the walls 🧑‍🎨 Farrow and ball
Woodwork finished in Once Dulux satin before being undercoated twice with Johnson’s aqua guard 🧑‍🎨

Happy to say this job went on to secure another interior from an independent property developer. 🏠

Penshurst Swaylands Estate, Exterior Decoration.

I’m happy to say Taylor’s Painting Services has completed this stunning project in 2025. Our team delivered an exceptional and professional finish which has now lead to the front side of this amazing building bieng for summer of 2026.

Dulux materials were used throughout this estate, maintaining durability and reliability with a touch of class.

Dulux clear primer to ensure durability, Dulux undercoat x2 coats to ensure woodwork to be protected finished with Dulux exterior satin wood (almond white). All preparation work including cutting out rotten wood was either filled with Ronseal two part wood filler, or repair care dry flex for the deeper more robust needs. Applying wet rot wood hardener to ensure life.

Oak doors were my favourite, as I adore woodwork. This was a pleasure of mine to do. Ensuring the doors were sanded completely back, removing any old stain that could jeopardise the finish. Sadolin clear preserver ensuring that these stunning doors would maintain life. Finished with sadolin extra durable wood stain. I must say myself the doors drip class and satisfaction!
