A bedroom you'll never want to leave.

Cannadines designs and fits beautiful fitted bedrooms across East Sussex, from modern looks in Uckfield to cosy traditional rooms in Crowborough. We use quality fitted furniture from Hepplewhite to help you make the most of every inch, with clever storage and real comfort designed around how you live.

Our team takes care of the whole project, including plastering, electrics, carpentry, decorating and flooring, and we never overlap installations, so the same fitters are with you each day until it's finished. Most bedrooms take between two and five days, depending on the furniture and style you choose.

Prefer to use your own fitter? No problem. We're happy to design everything and supply the furniture for you.

It's usually not a "stuff" problem. It's a storage problem.

Bathrooms have been our thing for over 60 years.

Long before the colour-of-the-year reports and the Pinterest boards, Cannadines were designing and fitting bathrooms across Sussex. We still are.

We work with two of the UK's leading suppliers, Calypso and Roper Rhodes, which gives you a proper choice of styles, colours and finishes, whether you're after a quiet en-suite, a hard-working family bathroom, or a master bathroom built around a long bath at the end of the day.

Every project starts with a visit to your home to measure up and understand how the room needs to work. We design it, walk you through the plans in our Uckfield showroom, then handle the full installation through our ten teams of local installers, plumbing, plastering, electrics, tiling and decorating all covered. We don't overlap jobs, so the same team stays with you from start to finish.

Average install time is around two weeks. Plans and quotes are free. We cover Uckfield, Crowborough, Haywards Heath, Tunbridge Wells and surrounding villages including Fletching, Newick, Maresfield and Buxted.

A proper wet room, designed end to end.

In our latest showroom walkthrough, we’re talking through one of the wet room displays at our Uckfield showroom, and why this is the kind of setup we recommend for clients who don’t want a standard shower tray.

Everything sits on one level. No tray, no step, no awkward lip to clean around. The screen is a bespoke 10mm glass panel from Shower Lab, cut on the side to fit the exact layout of the room, paired with a rainfall shower head and a wood-effect feature wall behind that breaks up the marble tiling.

Alongside the showering area you’ve got a wall-hung WC, a navy vanity unit, an illuminated mirror cabinet and a chrome heated towel rail.

A wall came down. A whole way of living changed.

This project started with a separate kitchen and dining room, two perfectly fine rooms that just weren't working as one. So we took the wall down between them and turned the whole footprint into a single open family kitchen, with a long bank of units running through it and proper room to cook, eat and sit together.

While we were at it, we matched the utility room to the new kitchen, refitted the downstairs cloakroom, and lifted the old flooring throughout to lay Karndean Golden Brushed Oak across the entire downstairs.

The kitchen itself is two-tone, Sheraton in-line painted Botanical paired with woodgrain medium oak, finished with Silestone Ethereal Glow quartz worktops. Appliances are NEFF (Slide&Hide oven, combination microwave oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher), a Caple induction hob with four bridgeable zones, and an Elica extractor.

Designed by Tom and installed by Tony Rossi, who's been one of our trusted installers for over 15 years. Plastering, decorating, electrics and flooring all handled in-house, as always.

Start to finish: around 7 weeks.
