Bathroom Remodel for Landlady -

We were asked by our gas engineer friends at Moon Plumbing & Heating to assist in remodeling an existing bathroom space for a Landlady in Hevitree Exeter.

The land lady stripped out the old suite and tiles and supplied the bathroom suite. Abode - Property Developers were tasked with the wall preparation, carpentry and tiling in the room.

The clients had already bought the suite and fittings in the Victorian style so we carried on the style with sage green brick tiling with Jasmine grout on the walls.

To the bath we installed a moisture resistant bead & butt panelling and tied it in by using the same to the gas boiler cabinet.

The rest of the decorative timber work was traditional torus timber architrave and skirting to finish.

As a problem area minimum Pvc cloaking was installed around the existing window to help prevent water pe*******on during shower use.

As the property was to be let easy access to the bath service area for maintenance was created via hatch.

A service hatch was also included in the bottom of the boiler cabinet with the option of the bespoke boiler unit enable to slide forward for future boiler replacement.

Kitchen Remodel installation from earlier this year.

We took the clients requirements for a modern take on a functional country kitchen. We combined a factory soft beige colour shaker door and real oak worktops finished with brushed brass fittings.

Floating shelves, bespoke extractor hood all nod to old country kitchens and help the clients existing range cooker become the centre of a cooks kitchen.

Also installed -
Set of anthracite grey aluminium french doors with side panels.
Ceiling pendant lights add to the mix and either direct light for food prep or for mood lighting in the evening.

Perfect for those cold winter nights.

"The brief was to create a modern twist on a gentleman club theme".

The process -
*Removed the face brick from the original.
*Create a bespoke wooden fire surround and mantle.
*Create panelling which is in Shaker style and goes around the whole room.
*Decorate with a deep muddy green and a pale green blend to tue into the colours found in the feature wallpaper.
*Fire surround and mantle finished in traditional white to make the area pop.
