Well, the longer stems have finished (to be honest I’m amazed they’re alive at all in the polytunnel…) but the shorter stems just keep on keeping on. Just perfect for bud vases.

The sweet peas are looking and smelling divine. The long stems have finished (to be honest, I’m amazed they’re alive at all in the polytunnel 🥵)

However now are sending out plenty of shorter stems which are just perfect for bud vases. Who wouldn’t love a mini posy of these to brighten a day?

It was oh so hot in the polytunnel this morning…

Up with the lark to pick for tomorrow’s bouquets, they’ll be carefully conditioned overnight to ensure they go out at their best tomorrow.

Happy Friday flower friends.

Just look at these Iris doing thier thing on the plot, they stopped me in my tracks. Aren’t they just stunning!

Currently heading down to that London for my Flowers From The Farm ambassador role tomorrow at RHS Chelsea, some suitable reading en route, a fabulous book and would thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in our relationship and association with gardening.

Don’t forget to water those plants and yourself. 🌺

Good Morning flower lovers, it looks like the sun is going to come out and it's going to be a glorious day.

Who has been watching Chelsea? my FB & Instagram feed has been full of the most incredible flowers, gardens and installations. I have serious flower envy.

This year, Flowers From The Farm have built a mini flower farm in the grand pavilion to showcase how wonderful British grown flowers are at this time of year, and were thrilled to be awarded a silver gilt medal.

I'm more than a little excited that I'll be on the stand on Saturday representing them and Norfolk growers. Expect many photos!

& this is the most beautiful poppy doing it's thing in the polytunnel - those ruffles.....
