Made quite a difference in a couple of days on this new project. The clients brief was to strip the old overgrown borders and make them smaller. I'll be reseeding areas of the lawn in the next week

Next step is to start replanting the borders, the theme is going to be topiary with some Buxus balls of various sizes going in planted around a centre point of an Acer tree. There will be some other planting around this which is still to be decided by the client.

Yesterday I got the opportunity to tidy up this overgrown garden for an elderly client. She was delighted with the transformation and how much more light was in the garden. So satisfying to see the before and after shots and what a little bit of hard work can achieve.

Finished this job yesterday. This area has so much more light now compared to when I started. I've removed two large Leylandii and several shrubs, pruned other shrubs, raised the trees and dug out numerous stumps. This should give the remaining shrubs/plants more sun light to flourish in the future. The Yews have also been trimmed but these are a work in progress as they need to thicken up in places before we can get the final shape. I think next year we will see more bulbs come to life after they have been dormant because of the lack of light in the past.

Lots more space now to add more planting going forward 👍
