Being self employed in my very own small business means it really is just me, as is often the case for a lot of small businesses.

This means, I don’t have a receptionist or admin assistant, no one in marketing and social media, I sadly dont have a PA orgaising my week in the most streamline possible way and I dont have anyone maintaining all my tools so I’m still spending time outside of chargeable gardening hours doing things to keep the business running

All of which adds up to me, at 9pm, on a Sunday night, taking apart my most beloved tool - the secateur - giving them a good scrub, sharpen, oil and plenty of TLC ready for next week..….

……. And I wouldn’t want to change it!

I absolutely love, LOVE, what I do, but just remember small business owners carry on working even after hours

As you may have noticed I’ve had a little break from my FB page - However I’m am now back! 🌷 🌼🪻🌻🌳🌱

Well that’s it, the tools have been cleaned, sharpened, oiled and stored away in the shed ready for a well earned break, as I am now having some time off to spend with family.

So I’ll say Happy bank holiday to you all and I’ll be back gardening on Wednesday 6th September. 🌸 🌳 🌹 🍁 👩‍🌾🥾🐝

Tidy up of an existing cloud pruned yew tree. I know it looks a bit like it has been given antlers🦌 😂 but its the remains of a tree in the process of being removed!
