Last Sunday, we were honoured to attend the celebration of Phase One of the renovation works at the Historic Almshouses in Uttoxeter. These much-needed repairs mark an important step in preserving this cherished Grade II listed building.

The Almshouses provide essential housing for elderly members of our community. With Phase Two now underway, the focus shifts to replacing the severely deteriorated windows—an urgent task to ensure the building remains safe, energy-efficient, and suitable for years to come.

We were humbled to receive certificates of appreciation for our contribution and remain proud to support local projects that make a meaningful impact.
