Happy Father's Day from all of us at Camel Glass ☀️💙

Today we're celebrating all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures - from those in our own team to the dads in the homes we've had the privilege of working on across Cornwall and Devon.

As we welcome the first day of summer, we're looking forward to longer days, brighter evenings and more time spent making memories with family and friends.

The best homes are filled with moments that matter, and we're proud that our windows and doors are part of those everyday scenes.

Our Wadebridge team recently completed this door replacement project, transforming a tired, dated entrance into a smart, modern feature that instantly enhances the appearance of the property.

🔧 Behind the Glass: Meet Martin Meek
Martin Meek is our Aluminium Fabrication Manager, working behind the scenes to help produce the aluminium frames that are used across many of our projects.
From technical drawings and preparation through to machining, assembly and quality checks, Martin plays an important role in making sure everything is fabricated accurately and ready for our installation teams.
While our fitters are out on site, Martin and the aluminium fabrication team are busy in the workshop, helping keep projects moving and ensuring products are built to specification before they leave the factory.
Having our own in-house aluminium fabrication facility is a real strength for Camel Glass. It gives us greater control over quality, lead times and communication, while allowing our teams to work closely together from survey through to installation.

A striking tessellated Gunmetal entrance door, crafted by our Inspiration Doors joinery team and installed by our Barnstaple team.

Even with the project still under construction, the door is already making a real architectural statement — with its layered geometric detailing, deep gunmetal finish and glazed sidelights helping to create a bold, contemporary entrance.

We’ll be heading back once the project is fully complete to capture the finished installation properly.
