Another excellent example of why your boiler should be serviced annually. Burner gaskets, combustion seals don't last forever and they are there to make sure your boiler runs safely. 👍

Another busy week with radiator upgrades, landlord certificates, boiler services and finished the week off with an unvented cylinder install. I'd to thank all my customers for their work its very much appreciated. I've noticed a few messages in my messenger spam folder so I'd like to apologise for those late replies "I'm not sure how messenger decides to split them into different folders but I will be checking both folders from now on" 😉

After arriving at a customers property today to repair a central heating boiler (printed circuit board faulty) and carrying out basic safety checks I found that due to the boiler not being serviced for a number of years the combustion seal was incomplete and a vital part of the flue had corroded causing the boiler to be producing higher levels of carbon monoxide than it should. Prime example of why you should get your boiler serviced annually. This can be prevented before your boiler breaks down and keeps you and your family safe. Repaired boiler, serviced boiler and installed a carbon monoxide alarm. Happy customer, happy engineer😀
