You’re most likely to find the boiler in the kitchen, and occasionally they’re also placed in other rooms such as the utility rooms.
However, of recent years we’ve noticed a rise in outdoor boiler installations, and we can totally see why 🙌
There are many good reasons to have your boiler outdoors, the first being that there just isn’t enough space indoors. Secondly, some people really dislike the noise a boiler can make. That said, a well maintained, serviced boiler should be pretty quiet (although never completely silent).
Finally, there’s aesthetics. A boiler in a kitchen or any room in your house is pretty visible, and you may not want to this in your home. Having a boiler outside removes this issue.
