It takes a team to design and build beautiful gardens.

“From our very first meeting with Green Art staff at their show room in Wallingford we were impressed by their professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail. George came to look at our garden then drew up plans to redesign it taking into account our priorities. Communication was excellent throughout The team who worked on our garden were Norbert, Alfie and Luke. They were very courteous, hard-working and the whole company went the extra mile to get our garden makeover looking great. Some ‘Top Tips’ to help you go Greener in your garden this

1. Feed your soil
Instead of chemical fertilisers try adding organic matter like compost, leaf mould, leaf litter or well-rotted manure to your garden beds. This will help build a healthier and more sustainable soil.

2. Add a tree or shrub
As well as providing us with shade and habitat for nature, as trees grow, they lock away carbon and help to clean the air.

3. Water with intention
When it warms up, be sure to water early or late in the day, focusing on the base of plants, not the leaves – this helps grow stronger roots whilst reducing water loss through evaporation.
If you can, consider adding a water butt (or a another one!) to use what nature gifts us when it rains - like is has done this past week!

Remember - Your garden doesn’t need to be perfect to make a difference – it just has to be alive.
