First job this week has been this timber deck for a family in Lichfield. The corner of the garden was overgrown and had become more of a place to store things than anything else. I was asked to build a 4m x 4m timber deck ahead of a big birthday coming up, so that is exactly what I have done. What was an unused space is now the main attraction of the garden. An ideal space for friends and family to use for dining or entertaining.

Hi all 🤗

Just to let you know, we have been following a few trends in the porch - when’s very quiet & when we are being asked to open more.

We will be changing to these opening hours to see if it works a little better - with immediate effect 💝

We can’t open every Sunday due to family commitments but thought the last Sunday of each month might work??

We will keep an eye on it to see how it goes - feedback welcome - as we want to deliver the best possible service we can to you lovely lovely people 🥰🥰🥰

This week I have been in Cannock creating this Assured Composite deck with wire rope railings. The old timber deck had been removed prior to my arrival, having pretty much rotted away to nothing leaving me a clear(ish) work area to create the new deck. At just over 3.5m square it is a lovely size and fits nicely in this raised corner of the garden. The railings are a first of this type for me and really work in this setting, giving safety without blocking the view.

It’s not always about how big a deck is or making a statement in your garden. Sometimes it’s about what is needed and wanted. And last week that is exactly where I came to help this customer. They had an unusable space at the side of the property and wanted to make use of it. So I built a timber deck, just under 4m across and rangine from under 1m to 1.6m deep. Enough space for a small table and chairs and somewhere to have a relaxing drink or read a book. Another very happy customer.

Today saw me returning to a customer who I built a deck for in March. As soon as the deck was complete they asked me to add a veranda over it so it could be used on the not so nice days and also allow safe storage of some items out of the weather. In the mean time the deck has been painted and looks amazing. And a days work sees a new Omega (Roofing) Plastics Ltd polycarbonate roof over it.
