Out in Great Waltham, Chelmsford today.

Site visit ahead of install of a large format 1200x1200 porcelain floor to the entire ground floor of 150m2.

Underfloor heating on play so decoupling membrane Ditra will also be used alongside an epoxy grout to give a seamless finish.

3 bathrooms to tile so another lovely project for us in the Chelmsford area.

Here's a bathroom we actually got to see fully fitted after we had tiled and fitted LED profiles.

We were back in Witham for the homes second bathroom so it was great to see the finished ensuite.

LED profiles really upgrade a bathroom, and surprisingly cost very little.

A couple of bathrooms tiled in Nazeing last week. These used the Wickes Calcutta charm which are a fairly cheap tile at around £20/M2 to good effect.

Balcony tiling completed in Chigwell, Essex.

Drain gulleys were either end, so it had a fall from centre to edge in both directions. Sadly, I had no marbles with me this day for a run off video 😂

Here's a type of floor tile you don't see often, so if you're thinking about wood effect tiles check these out.

Chevron pattern, similar to herringbone, but different, in a good way. From Topps Tiles Trade called Elevo chevron natural.

We spent hours setting this one out because as well as the chevron pattern, the house was a really quirky 70's but that was almost bat shaped! (Honest, see picture in comments)

We centred the pattern at the front door, into a T shape hallway with kitchen and lounge either end.

The video doesn't do it justice, but we think the pattern flows really well.

Hexagon wall tiles with concrete effect floor made for a unique looking bathroom finished up this week. Shower tray was tiled with envelope cut, now it's all ready for second fix.

A big mix up of colours in the resin to hide the joints on this 4 piece bookmatch marble we installed in Sewardstone. The stone was then polished back across the entire face to a honed finish, as the client didnt like how shiny it was.
