Designed around your vision. Built around your lifestyle.

It’s always rewarding to see a project come to life.

This recently completed garden room in Notting Hill was created to adapt effortlessly throughout the day. A private home office, a wellness space, a home gym, and a place to step away from the demands of everyday life.

Natural finishes, expansive slimline glazing, and carefully considered design create a space that feels connected to the garden while supporting focus, wellbeing, and balance.

We don’t build off-the-shelf garden rooms.

We create bespoke spaces that reflect the people who use them, designed around the way you live today and the way you want to live tomorrow.

Thinking about creating your own garden room? We’d love to hear your ideas and help bring them to life.

More than a room. A space for life.

Some spaces give you extra square footage.

The right space gives you something more.

A space to create.
A space to connect.
A space to play.
A space to relax.
A space to breathe.

Designed around the garden, shaped by nature, and built around the way you want to live.

Whether it’s your morning coffee beneath the trees, focused work without distractions, family time, creative projects, or simply a quiet moment at the end of the day, your garden room becomes whatever you need it to be.

Because great design isn’t about adding space.

It’s about creating room for the life you want to live.

BRINGING FAMILIES TOGETHER, WITHOUT COMPROMISING PERSONAL SPACE.

This stunning bespoke annexe proves that even a compact London garden can deliver exceptional living space.

Designed for a family who regularly welcome relatives and guests, this fully bespoke L-shaped annexe creates the perfect balance between togetherness and independence.

The space includes a comfortable guest suite, a dedicated lounge area with room for a sofa bed, a luxury wet room featuring a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin, integrated storage throughout, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen for clients who love cooking and entertaining outdoors.

As multi-generational living continues to grow, more families are looking for practical ways to stay connected while maintaining privacy and flexibility. An annexe creates valuable space for visiting family, overnight guests, adult children returning home, or even future lifestyle needs.

Every detail of this project was carefully designed to maximise a smaller garden footprint without compromising on style, comfort or functionality.

The result is a beautiful, versatile living space that will serve this family for years to come.

The world moves fast.

Notifications. Deadlines. Noise.

But beyond the back door, another pace exists.

Hidden among the trees. Wrapped in nature. Designed for stillness.

A room that’s not part of the house.

A room that’s part of you.

A place to think clearly.
To work deeply.
To read quietly.
To simply breathe.

Because true luxury isn’t having more.

It’s having somewhere to disappear for a while.

At the end of the garden, a different world awaits.

Where every day feels a little further away.

At Into The Garden Room, we’ve always loved reclaimed wood.

Not because it’s fashionable.

Because it brings something new timber simply can’t replicate.

Every mark, grain pattern and weathered detail tells a story. Decades of history become part of the room itself.

The result is warmth. Depth. Character.

Reclaimed timber creates an atmosphere that feels established from day one. It softens contemporary architecture and brings authenticity to modern spaces.

There’s a sustainability story too.

By giving existing timber a second life, reclaimed wood helps reduce demand for newly harvested materials while preventing valuable resources from going to waste.

Luxury hospitality brands, boutique retreats and design-led spaces have embraced reclaimed timber for years. Companies such as Soho House have long understood that people are drawn to spaces that feel lived-in, layered and authentic rather than perfectly polished.

That’s exactly why we use it.

Because the best garden rooms don’t just look beautiful.

They make you feel something the moment you walk through the door.Perhaps it’s the texture shaped by decades of weather. Perhaps it’s the imperfections that make every board unique. Or perhaps it’s knowing that every piece has already lived a life before becoming part of your space.

In this project, reclaimed timber brings warmth and authenticity to both the exterior and interior, creating a garden room that feels established, inviting and connected to its surroundings.

Beyond its visual appeal, reclaimed wood is one of the most sustainable materials available. It reduces waste, extends the life of existing resources and avoids the environmental impact associated with producing new materials.

The result is a space with genuine character. A room that feels less like an extension and more like a destination

If you’re planning a garden room and want a space with warmth, character and lasting appeal, send us a message and let’s start designing something truly unique.

Luxury isn’t built from a catalogue.

It’s created in the details.

The reflection of a handcrafted pendant.
The precision of a bespoke slatted ceiling.
The seamless transition from inside to out.
The texture of natural materials.
The balance of light, space and landscape.

Every element has a purpose.

No templates.
No compromises.
No design restrictions.

Just a space designed around the way you live.

Because true luxury isn’t about having what everyone else has.

It’s about creating something that could only belong to you.

Thinking about creating your own bespoke garden room, pool house or entertaining space? Send us a message and let’s start designing something uniquely yours.

A room that settles into the garden. A space that settles the soul.

Some spaces do more than add square meterage.

They transform how you live.

Designed to sit quietly within its surroundings, this beautiful garden room creates a retreat from the demands of everyday life. A place to work, create, entertain, unwind, or simply enjoy the changing seasons from the comfort of a space designed exclusively around its owners.

Clad in striking Shou Sugi Ban timber, the building feels deeply connected to the landscape. The rich texture, depth and character of the charred timber complement the garden beautifully, creating a structure that feels timeless, grounded and completely at home in its setting.

This room, completed many years ago and still one of our favourites, presented its own unique challenges. Set on a steep hillside and designed around an unusual shape and footprint, it demanded thoughtful design, careful planning and skilled craftsmanship at every stage.

The result is a building that responds naturally to its setting while making the most of every square metre. A space that feels as though it has always belonged there.

Years later, it continues to remind us why bespoke design matters. When a space is created around the character of a site and the aspirations of its owners, it becomes far more than an extra room.

It becomes somewhere you want to be.

If you’re considering a garden room, don’t settle for ordinary. Create a space that is designed around your lifestyle, your aspirations and the way you want to enjoy your garden.

Contact us today to begin your journey towards a truly bespoke garden room.

A private wellness retreat, designed around modern family life.

One of the biggest trends we’re seeing right now?

Homeowners investing in wellness spaces at home.

This bespoke sauna was created as part of a larger project for a family in Richmond upon Thames.

The brief wasn’t simply to add a sauna.

It was to create a complete wellness destination.

Alongside the sauna, the space includes:

• A yoga and dance studio
• A fully equipped gym
• A comfortable lounge area
• A luxury wet room

A place to exercise, recover, relax and reconnect, all without leaving home.

It’s no surprise that enquiries for saunas and wellness spaces continue to grow.

Research suggests regular sauna use may help reduce stress, support muscle recovery, improve circulation and promote better sleep.

But for many families, the real value is having a dedicated space to pause in an increasingly busy world.

A space that supports both physical and mental wellbeing.

We’re seeing more clients prioritise wellness in the same way they once prioritised home offices.

And we believe that’s a trend that’s only going to continue.

Could your home benefit from a dedicated wellness space? Get in touch to discuss how we can create a tailored solution for your lifestyle.

Designed for a family in Richmond upon Thames, this bespoke sauna forms part of a much larger multifunctional wellness space.

The project combines a sauna, yoga and dance studio, gym, lounge and luxury wet room, creating a private retreat focused on health, recovery and wellbeing.

As demand for wellness at home continues to rise, we’re seeing more homeowners invest in spaces that help them move better, recover faster and switch off from the demands of everyday life.

The modern luxury isn’t necessarily having more space.

It’s creating spaces that improve how you live.

Would a home wellness suite be on your wish list?
