Busy week for the team last week 💪🚜

Tight access on this landscaping project meant every move had to be planned properly, but with our TB219 help from and their hire dumper we’ve been able to keep the job moving efficiently 👏

We’ve now started bringing material in across the 70m track using track mats to protect neighbouring properties while allowing larger machines on site. This has massively reduced time on the job, helped us stay on schedule, and ultimately brought overall costs down for the customer ✅

🌟 Transformation complete! 🌟 We just finished this amazing front garden makeover! Our team worked their magic, removing old tired grass, and laying down fresh w**d membrane and gravel. The result is a fresh new look that's perfect for the property!

⚠️ Safely Removed ⚠️

We were approached by a local council to remove a dead ash tree, victim of severe ash dieback.

After obtaining all required permits for the conservation area from the county council, we worked quickly to remove the hazardous tree, prioritizing public safety.

The tree was expertly felled and sectioned into firewood-sized logs, preserving the grass below.

Due to the tree’s location it’s been decided that a new tree (English Oak) will be planted to eventually replace the tree.

🍃 Big Hedge Trimming 🍃

The team recently completed the yearly trimming of a conifer hedge for a local customer. This hedge is one of the best-kept conifers we’ve seen – compact and lush, like walking on carpet!

Great team effort to finish this in just one day.

Things to check once the winds have gone and be vigilant about -

• Hanging branches in trees
• Structural damage to fences, sheds, and plant supports

☀️Let there be light ☀️

Our team put in the hard work at a property in Corfe Castle this week, successfully removing 46 lawson cypress trees for a customer.

We expertly navigated obstacles like fence lines, walls, fruit trees and a play park, all while battling harsh weather.

The end result? A job well done in just 3 days, with zero damage.

The garden is now thriving, with ample sunlight for the fruit trees and plants to flourish.

The customer can rest easy, knowing the local play park is safe from falling trees.

And they can now plant a hedge that is a suitable size for there garden.

We replaced the grass with stylish 40mm purple slate and crisp grey paving edges.

The complex angles of massive ground changes were a challenge, but the smooth finish makes it all worthwhile!

💥 Garden Space Doubled! 💥

just finished a fantastic project, removing a laurel hedge, stumps, pampus grass and installing a brand new closeboard fence with a hidden gate!

Working in this lovely woodland removing dead or dangerous trees that could cause injury to anyone walking through.

On this visit we focused on removing the big dead elm trees over pathways. Anchoring in more stable alive trees using climbing techniques and jumping over into these dead elms. This was the only way possible due to a steep bank as access.

With Nature at the top of the list for this project the trees were cut and left as poles 15-20ft high with bat nesting areas created with specialist cuts in each with pooling spots for future tree soils to be created helping insects.

Any brush or wood cut was stacked in habitat piles.

Arbor Nature are looking for a self employed labourer/groundsman for our growing tree surgery and garden maintenance company.

You would be in a sub-contractor, self-employed position. With work normally being done on a Tuesday - Wednesday, possibly more depending on the jobs/workload.

Job quality and customer satisfaction is of the upmost importance to us.

Experience in hard landscaping and garden maintenance is preferred but not essential, some of this would include general tree surgery, sleeper work, fencing, turfing, hedge cutting and woodland management work.

We are also looking for someone who:

- Is reliable.
- Is very hard working.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Can work to a very high standard.
- Is well presented and professional.
- Has their own transport.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.

This is a very physically demanding role and we work in all weathers.

The suitable person would be expected to either meet on site or meet at the yard from 7:30-8:30am depending on location.

Our area covers the whole of Dorset.
