Lavender is loved by bees and pollinators, thrives in sunny spots and fills the garden with colour and fragrance throughout summer.

💜 Lavender Avenue at Holme for Gardens

One of the most distinctive features of the gardens, Lavender Avenue is framed by a pair of 120m Lavender 'Munstead' hedges and elegant Frans Fontaine hornbeams.

A beautiful place for a stroll and a favourite with both visitors and pollinators throughout the summer months.

🌸 Foxgloves looking beautiful in the gardens

One of the highlights of early summer, foxgloves bring height, colour and elegance to the borders while attracting plenty of bees and other pollinators.

Our foxgloves are looking particularly lovely at the moment and are well worth seeking out during your next visit.

🌿 National Garden Scheme Day at Holme for Gardens

Today we're delighted to be opening as part of the National Garden Scheme.

The gardens are looking beautiful, with foxgloves, lupins and early summer borders all putting on a wonderful display.

All garden admission proceeds today will go towards supporting the National Garden Scheme and the charities it supports.

🌿 June is a lovely time to visit Holme for Gardens

The Lavender Avenue is now in full bloom, and the gardens are looking beautiful in the summer sunshine.

Take a stroll along the Lavender Avenue, explore Lizzie's Kitchen Garden, discover sculptures throughout the gardens, and enjoy colourful borders, peaceful walks and views across the wider garden.

Upcoming Event: National Garden Scheme 🌸

The National Garden Scheme offers visitors access to over 3,500 exceptional gardens across the UK. We’re excited to be participating, so come and explore our beautiful gardens this summer.

All proceeds from the day will go to the National Garden Scheme, supporting charitable causes.
