New project loading… 3 rooms of fresh plaster to transform! 🛠️🎨
​The plasterers have done their bit, and now I’ve stepped in to bring these 3 rooms to life. The old, dated wallpaper is long gone, leaving a massive blank canvas to work with.
​Here is how the progress is looking:
​Yesterday: Smashed the mist coat out across all 3 rooms. Crucial step to seal that fresh plaster and draw out any hidden flaws. 💨💨
​Today: Pure groundwork. I'm on the tools today sanding back the walls, filling any plaster cracks and imperfections, and getting all the woodwork prepped and caulked. 🪓🪵
​It's a big shift getting 3 rooms prepped solo, but cutting no corners on the prep means I’m set up perfectly to fly with the top coats tomorrow.

Another solid day on the tools. Two completely different jobs boxed off today. 🛠️🪓
​Here is what went down:
​Bruche (Warrington): Stripped back the external door and sorted it with a natural oak stain to bring out the natural grain, finished with a sharp black border. It completely changes the front of the house. 🚪🔥
​Wigan: Trashed the blank canvas in this bedroom by hanging a luxury Osborne & Little designer wallpaper feature wall over the fresh panelling. It's a busy print to line up, but the seamless finish looks the business. 🦜🌿
​Exterior timber work or high-end wallpaper features, the standard stays the exact same.

Good morning everyone! The week has only just started, but a nostalgia trip on the school run has already derailed my morning. ☕🏃‍♂️
​Spotted some of these on the path today—the ultimate 90's childhood playground ammunition. Remember when you'd give a mate a pat on the back and leave half a field stuck to their jumper?
​Tried to show my boy how it's done, but the grass just slid right off. Man, the world has changed! I swear modern school uniforms are basically bulletproof now. It's true the kids today are completely untouchable.
​We used to walk home looking like hedgehogs, but these kids are wearing protective armor. 😂

​I know how hectic life gets and how easy it is to forget to leave feedback once a job is finished. massive thank you to my clients on today's job! 🙏🥃
​I was back today putting the final finishing touches on a house I started few weeks back. It wasn't a massive job, but before I left, they completely blew me away by gifting me this bottle of Indri Single Malt to say thanks for all my hard work.
​I am honestly just amazed at how incredibly thoughtful people can be! It's a bit of an emotional farewell to this one today, but what an absolute class gesture and the perfect way to wrap up a busy week.

​The massive games room is completely painted and looking top-tier.
​For everyone guessing on the dormer debate, here's how the client wanted it. Took the wall color (Crispy Crumble) right over the sloped ceiling and cheeks, keeping just the inner window recess crisp white. It blends everything seamlessly and makes the room feel massive!
​Lines are razor-sharp, the space looks totally transformed, and it's completely ready for the new carpets to go down. Bring on fat friday now 😎

Job number 3 of the week is officially underway! 🛠️🎮
​Stepping in to help out on this massive games room transformation before the new carpets go down. The customer did a brilliant job getting the ball rolling, but with a space this size, they decided to bring in a pro to push it over the finish line.
​Everything is piled up in the middle how i like it and ready to go. Chosen colour is Dulux Endurance+ in "Crispy Crumble" Since it’s going to be a games room, that diamond-tough, washable formulation is perfect for keeping the walls looking mint.
​Time to crack on and get these walls looking top-tier! 🖌️😎
