Chainsaw Operative/Trainee Climber -

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team part time. The ideal candidate will uphold high standards of safety and quality in their work. Responsibilities include ground-based duties such as tree felling, strimming, Hedge Cutting and clearance work.

(chainsaw tickets are essential CS30- CS31)

Driving License (Essential)

Trainee Groundsman/Labourer -

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Trainee Tree Surgeon (groundsman). If you are passionate about the environment, have a keen interest in arboriculture, and are looking to start a rewarding career in the field, this position is ideal for you. PPE will be provided.

No prior experience in tree surgery is required; however, a strong interest in arboriculture and a willingness to learn are essential.

To work and fit in as part of the team
Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
You must have a driving licence or a lift to work each morning. Our yard is in a remote location
minimum 3 days per week
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: £80.00-£150.00 per day

Trainee Tree Surgeon/Groundsman Wanted

D.J Trees & Hedges are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Trainee Tree Surgeon/Groundsman. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn the skills and techniques required to become a professional Tree Surgeon. This position is ideal for individuals who have a keen interest in arboriculture, and are looking to start a rewarding career.

- No prior Tree Surgeon experience is necessary, but a strong work ethic and a keen interest in the trade is essential

- Part-time, self employed minimum 3 days a week up to 5 days

- Saturday work paid at an additional rate

- This role would suit a young person (potential to turn into full time apprenticeship for the right candidate)

- Must have a means of transport as our yard is in a remote location

- Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are a must

- PPE will be provided
