It’s amazing how just changing the colour of a worktop can bring new life to a room.

Today we were tasked with the challenge of installing a quartz overlay to the customers black granite including matching splash backs.

This wasn’t an easy task due to the walls having massive bows all along it.

Nothing was too much trouble for us as we managed to complete it.

What a transformation it is too. New sleek quartz overlay worktops, matching splash backs and a new 1.5 bowl sink and tap complement this transformation.

What’s your thoughts on quartz overlays?? Mine is they are a great product. They can change the look of a kitchen in just 1 day!!

What a transformation.

From the initial design through to the decoration, we carried out every aspect.

The customers over the moon with the new kitchen.

22mm thick door and drawer frontals mean they will withstand some of the harshest use. 18mm carcasses including back panels give a robust unit to withstand all the bulkiest of kitchen equipment.

The use of black sockets and light switch compliments the black Granite sink and tap and also the angled extractor including the gas hob and electric oven.

The jazzy orange walls brightens the whole place up and with the sleek 22mm white marble worktops and crisp white glossed skirting gives the fine line of where walls meet skirting.

The job from start to finish took only 5 days!!

Now for a nice chilled weekend and a bit of time to relax.

Another job completed.

This one was a very technical job which took from 8am Friday (left at 6:30am) then finished at 9:20pm (back home for 11pm) then a return visit for 2 hours on the Saturday.

For this job there was 3x unit resizing, a new quad unit, new drawer boxes with soft close, all new doors, new panels, plinths, pelmets and cornice, fully install of an integrated fudge/freezer.

Massive change and the room now looks much brighter.

The customer is going to over tile the existing tiles using white metro tiles with a silver grey grout and install a new grey floor to match which will bring this unloved kitchen into the modern era and brighten it up.

We have carried out some big remedial jobs this week too which is why this is the only post.

Next week we have a full busy week with 3 full upgrades and a whole day doing remedial work.

A very exhausting and long day today.

Left Coventry at 6:50am and got to work for 8am. From then on we worked constantly battling the heat and the beaming sun for the entire day.
A finish of 8:50 and arrived backed home at 9:45pm!

The finish speaks for itself. A long day but an old kitchen has been transformed into a nice bright feature kitchen the customers will be happy to cook and entertain in.

A few remedial jobs tomorrow in Shroud, Cheltenham and Bromsgrove so quite an easy day (just a lot of driving.)

Now for some sleep and a fresh start tomorrow.

Start to a very busy and very hot 🥵 week.

Today we started off in Cannock. This job involved new doors, end panels, drawer fronts, filler panels, plinths and handles.

A very hot and sweaty day but a nice early finish (well, 4:15) and home for 5:30.

Off to Halesowen tomorrow for a very large 1 day project.

A little bit of an easier job today with the uplift of some wardrobes.

We have changed all doors, plinths, cornice and drawer fronts & even added new drawers built to the size of the opening.

Customers are really impressed with the time it took and the overall finish.

Another start to a busy week.

This job was based over 2 days and saw new door and drawer frontals, new end panels, resizing of 2 units, pelmets, cornice and plinths and a new unit.

Customer was so happy with the final result after not knowing what to expect that they even gave us a tip!!

Finally the week is over!!
It’s been a very hectic week with a substantial amount of travelling involved with really early starts and very late finishes.

The last of the week was a kitchen uplift in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Work involved was reduction of a unit, new Tall end panels, wall end panels, door and drawer fronts, pelmets and plinths and new handles.

We had to re-secure some units as they wasn’t level and was impacting the door adjustments. Plus for safety reasons we would never have left it like it.

All in all, another great installation and the photos don’t do it justice.

WOW!! 🤩

What a transformation.

From an old depressing look of a kitchen to a new modern and bright space that anyone would enjoy cooking in.

We have totally transformed this space in just 2 days.

The work we carried out consisted of resizing of units, moving units over to allow for new end panels, new fly-overs, new door and drawer fronts, new pelmets, plinths and cornice, new end panels and fillers, new drawer box to bottom of oven housing, modification of the oven housing to allow for larger top cupboard, larger drawer, single oven and built tin microwave. We’ve also installed a new hob and new extractor.

All in all a great new looking fresh faced kitchen which the customers have said they can’t use for the 1st year as it’s too good 😊.
At least that shows they’re happy. 😃
