✨ Ring me ✨ - Peachtober: ring, strawberry, leaf & rope

I’ve been wanting to do a slightly more “complex” animation for a few days, so I decided why not combine some of the prompts together and see what I can come up with?

This is also my first attempt at making a full drawing on Procreate and although it’s not my favourite piece of art I’ve ever done, I’ve learn a lot and got more comfortable with the program! 🌸

Do you guys have any tips on Procreate? Or maybe your favourite brushes? ☺️

Sketchbooks: Your art playground, a must-have for any artist, regardless of your skill level or medium. They're a safe space to experiment, develop your style, and learn from other artists.

Here are just a few of the ways you can use your sketchbook:

* Study other artists' styles. Collect images of artists you admire and sketch them in your sketchbook. Pay attention to their line work, color palettes, and compositions.

* Experiment with different techniques.Try out new materials and tools, and see what works best for you. Don't be afraid to make mistakes!

* Do color studies and swatches. This is a great way to learn how different colors interact with each other. You can also use your sketchbook to test out new color palettes for your finished artwork.

* Warm up before starting a new project. A few minutes of sketching in your sketchbook can help you get your creative juices flowing and loosen up your hand.

* Generate ideas for new projects. When you're feeling stuck, flip through your sketchbook to see if there are any old sketches that inspire you.

Here are some tips for getting the most out of your sketchbook:

* Use it regularly. The more you sketch, the better you'll become at it. Try to set aside some time each day to doodle or draw in your sketchbook.

* Don't be afraid to experiment. There are no rules when it comes to sketchbooks. Use whatever materials and techniques you like.

* Don't worry about making mistakes. Sketchbooks are a place to practice and learn. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and try new things.

* Have fun! Sketching should be enjoyable. So relax and let your creativity flow.

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I wanted to share with you some watercolour techniques that I use in my paintings and that I teach in my art lessons. Watercolour is a beautiful medium that can create amazing effects with different methods. One of the most common techniques is wet on wet, which means applying wet paint on a wet surface. This creates soft edges and blends the colours together. Wet on wet is great for creating backgrounds, skies, and water.

Another technique is wet on dry, which means applying wet paint on a dry surface. This creates sharp edges and contrasts the colours. Wet on dry is great for adding details, shapes, and textures. You can also combine these two techniques to create different layers and effects. For example, you can paint a wet on dry layer first, let it dry, and then add a wet on wet layer on top to create depth and interest.

If you want to learn more about these techniques and how to use them in your own paintings, you can join my art lessons. I offer online and in-person classes for beginners and intermediate levels. You will learn how to paint with watercolours, how to mix colours, how to compose a scene, and how to express your creativity. I would love to see you in my classes and help you discover the joy of watercolour painting!

Hello, I am an artist who loves to share my passion and knowledge with others. I have a rich and diverse background in art and design, which allows me to teach a variety of skills and techniques.

I have an art and design degree from the UK and a one-year study abroad in Cyprus (Fine Arts and Film). I have also completed a one-year course in illustrations and graphics.

Before pursuing higher education, I attended a school of arts and design for eight years, where I learned the fundamentals of drawing, painting, sculpture, and more. I have also developed an interest in design (interior and graphics), photography, and film, influencing my artistic vision and style.

I believe that art is a powerful way of expressing yourself, communicating with others, and exploring the world. I enjoy teaching students of all levels and ages, and helping them discover their own creative potential. Whether you want to learn the basics, improve your skills, or experiment with new mediums, I can help you achieve your artistic goals.
