My aim in designing and making furniture is to produce unique pieces that allow the beauty and warmth of wood to speak for themselves. My work features clean lines and sweeping curves (often steeped in my interest in geometry and architecture), realised in carefully selected timbers and with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. And the wardrobe/shelves to match the white gloss desk is finally installed. What a glorious setting for an art exhibition. We've had a fabulous weekend chatting to our many visitors, and are looking forward to many more over the week ahead and next weekend. Open daily 11am-6pm (12-5pm Sunday). See you there!

We'll be exhibiting at Studio Sixteen (16 Charles Street, Warwick, CV34 5LE) on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June (11-4).
From Saturday 26 June to Sunday 4 July our work will be on show at St John's Church in Kenilworth alongside 20 other Kenilworth Artists!

and the desk got installed! I'd never tried such a high gloss painted finish but I must admit it is really effective. Thank you to Mel Price for the practical and moral support. And putting up with my under-estimates. The planned two hours of fitting stretched to almost 5 hours. :( And thank you to J M B Polishers Ltd for an excellent job!

One of the doors will have a curved section to go around the corner. This time I decided to make it by coopering: gluing together staves at a 5degree angle to make the curve. Gluing up was a challenge..
