Right, so here we have a different project.
The owners wanted a small archway from upstairs, to be replicated in the downstairs entrance to the dining room, to bring the house “together” design wise.
Now it could have been an off-the-shelf arch kit but, me being me (and the way I do thing) I had to copy and paste the details.
This means, measuring the height from the coving and the arch start point (from the coving as well) and transferring them the the other door. Then onto the plasterboard.
Afterwords, I had to find the centre of the circle ⭕️ to draw the radius required for the arch.
Once the old frame was removed, a new one was installed to accommodate the new design.
Then the templates were cut and installed in place, followed by the arch beads (these are painful to work with) and the angle beads too.
All was left to do was, SBR the walls and skim.
And that’s what I did
Customer was very happy with the results, so that’s a win in my books 📕
Thank you for reading (mainly your patience 😁), watching and potentially sharing 👍
