Something different over the last couple of weeks, an Outbuilding built from start to finish for a customer, to be used as a gym all as per customers design 6m x 2.5m.

All built from a treated timber frame, fully insulated walls and ceiling with 75mm insulation boards and 50mm in the floor.

Composite Anthracite cladding for a zero maintenance building with double glazed windows and doors making it a very energy efficient building.

All within permitted development regulations, so no planning permission required.

Very satisfying to see the finish on this build.

Wall panelling around an entrance hall and upstairs, with a built in cupboard made to box in electric meters and cables.

Panelling built out with a 12mm backer board and 9mm strips with panel mouldings and new skirting, gives the panelling depth and a much more realistic look once painted.

Cupboard with shaker style doors made from tulipwood and the same panel mouldings, matches in well with the panelling.

A before picture of behind the meter cupboard shows what a difference it all makes to the entrance hall.

All sanded ready to be painted.

Black acoustic slatted panels installed across the back wall and floating units across the bottom, with a vinyl wrapped panel to mount the TV on, giving the option for LED lighting behind.
