I was recently invited back to my former college, Richard Huish, to talk to the students about setting up a small business, the pressures that come with it and the difficulties of setting up a business in the pandemic. It was a pleasure to go back. Thank you for having me!

🗣️ Level 2 Business students were treated to a talk from Elliot Booth from Booth Gardening Services. An ex-Richard Huish student, Elliot was able to talk to our students about how to set up your own business and the entrepreneurial skills needed.

He shared his tips for success in advertising and funding your own business start up, including overcoming the difficulties of starting a new business during a pandemic! He also promoted the importance of providing a quality service to customers if you want repeat business. The students found the talk really engaging and will be able to use the information in their current assignment.
