As a few of my customers know, we regularly take youths on the work experience program. This can be a bit faf, collecting kids and having to work around jobs that they can go to.

I am a great believer in putting something back into the trade so have felt that the hassle is worth it.
I have now had a few kids who have gone on to be apprenticeships following their experiences with us.

I received a lovely text last night from one of these kids who has just got an apprenticeship with West Lothian Council and cited his experiences with us was the extra piece that got him the job. Learning not to have hands in pockets and learning basic skills.

It’s give me and my staff a great sense of satisfaction that we can help the industry and young kids.
