Stone is a very durable material and can last for long time, but after some time may be a bit worn down.

This project required rebuilding stairs. First step was to tear down the stairs, then secure the surface with tanking slurry to prevent moisture from getting into the basement. Once that was done we rebuild the structure of the stairs on which new stone was fitted. New stone looks fresh and neat and feels like it has always been there.
