Another Winter survived, though more wet than cold this year disappointingly. Another Spring begins, March as ever is bringing the sunshine and the beginning of growth. Daffodils are blooming, the grass has started to grow and new buds are starting to peak out on hedges and flowers.

I will be out doing the first round of grass cuts and tidy ups for some regular customers this week and others will be done very soon. I do still have some time available for maintenance visits for this coming season though and am more than happy to add your garden to my rounds.

Small or large I can accommodate for most gardens and have experience looking after larger properties year-round as well as doing all sorts of side projects when required.

If this sounds like something you need this coming year then don’t hesitate to give me a call, email or message to arrange a no fee, no obligation visit and quote. Hope to hear from you soon.

With Christmas and NY behind us for another year it is time to start thinking ahead once more and into the not too distant Spring. Big clearances, fence replacements, new beds and borders or the restoration of old ones can all be done in the coming weeks before things start coming into bloom again.

As well as my normal garden related things, this year I intend to branch out into traditional and more bespoke carpentry.

These projects can range from something as small as a nice personalised chopping block for your kitchen all the way up to something like an outdoor cupboard to keep your bins hidden or firewood in preparation for next year.

I have also recently converted a passive space under a stairwell into a functional and useable storage area. It's not completely finished externally but functional and useable as is internally.

So I am looking to grow myself in these areas and whilst wanting to start small and safe my ambition and enthusiasm for these sorts of projects is not limited to making only basic things.

So for now lets keep projects relatively simple but I hope to be making stunning tables and bookcases before too long.

Here is to a fantastic 2026 for everybody.

With nights closing in fast and windy, grey, autumn weather rolling in, it won’t be long before the leaves turn and then seemingly overnight entire trees worth of them are on your driveway. If this sounds like something you suffer from annually, please contact me to see how I can help keep those pesky leaves out of your way.

The other main autumn job is hedges. Big overgrown getting in your way now hedges. Tall or long almost no hedge is impossible to tackle and bring back into its proper boundaries. If you have a hedge that needs a haircut then don’t hesitate to give me a call to discuss it.

Or perhaps you lost some fence panels in that recent storm and now need someone to replace them. Just contact me for a free no obligation quote to get that taken care of and restored.

Or maybe over summer you just let the garden grow to its maximum potential without worrying about how big everything was getting, until now. If you need a big one-off clearance and bed down for your garden, I am here to get that all sorted and to prevent the anxiety when you look out of the window.

For these or any other autumnal garden needs I am here to help and happy to take on bigger more long-term places or one off small gardens.

Well that was a spectacular way to end a drought, and a summer. 3 months of rain in one week.

With a much more autumnal feel going forward lots more things open up as potential jobs. Maintenance can restart as grass and hedges are going to grow rapidly. Turf can be prepped for and laid. Fence panel or post replacements can be done without digging into concrete like earth. And the never ending autumn problem of leaves everywhere will be upon us in no time.

So if your garden needs any of this, or any other garden projects then please don't hesitate to contact me for a free no obligation viewing and quote.

Lovely looking cut from last week at one of my regulars. That hill up the back is the bane of my life, but it does look good when stripey.

First maintenance job of the year this w/e.

Full strim and mow. Weeding through all the beds. Pruning the existing plants and shrubs ready for growth. Blowing away any old leaves collected in the corners and behind the shed.

Next up, Top soil for all the beds and jet washing the patio areas.

Can't wait for that first BBQ as soon as we get a decently hot w/e.

If your garden needs this kind of attention or will do in the near future then please don't hesitate to message, call or whatsapp me.

It's been a while since I posted anything, but I have been keeping myself busy this winter.

I have had one final really overgrown patch in a customers garden to tackle. It's a shame I forgot to take before pictures of the main area around the trees, but it was just as bad as those beds were.

Thankfully, the whole area is nice and clear now, and we can work out how to keep it "relatively" clean and clear going forward.

Full tidy on this lovely garden in Guildford the last few days. Left all the hedges looking nice and crisp, the shrubs and trees all got trimmed back into shape and out of the way.

Got some more big clearances coming up, so some nice transformations to come.
