Customer called to say they have a leak from there cylinder I attended and quoted for the replacement , today Removed a old leaking unvented cylinder and replaced with a new unvented cylinder with a 2 year manufacturer warranty , customer also advised that heating down stairs was not getting very hot found that the bypass was fully open permanently ,
sorted with another valve and now they have heating in all radiators and red hot again it’s a matter off looking at a system and going through stages what the system is doing

Evening All , it’s the time of year that your boiler may come up with an error code for ignition lockout , this could be due to the cold weather and could mean your Condensation pipe is frozen 🥶, if you have clear access outside and easy access to the pipe then run warm water over and will defrost the pipe , if you do have any issues then get in touch

Evening All , hope your all doing well ,

now the weather is turning a little bit you may have had to use your heating a lot more than usual!!

Have you noticed since using the heating that your either loosing a little bit of pressure or most of it on a sealed system on a daily or weekly basis , it could be the time for your boiler to be checked ,

3 jobs I attended today all lost pressure which caused the boiler to fail and not work and that was down to the boiler expansion vessel requiring recharging of air, when I completed the job the customer was left with a working functioning boiler ready for winter.

21 year old Vailliant removed and replaced with a Ideal Heating logic Max 10 year manufacturer warranty for customer peace of mind with Hive WiFi room stat installed
