2 years ago I did this and is still to this day my favorite. Made to measure, no spare pieces if anything went wrong, absolutely no room for error.
I only got the job because a decorator turned up before me to do it, took one look and his head fell clean off and said he wasn’t confident enough. So the customer went to her local community page and is probably 1 of the only jobs I’ve actually ended up winning by commenting on it along with 500 other people.
Some people do their job just because it’s a job, pays the bills etc which is fine.
Some people do their job because they actually enjoy what they do, no matter what it may be and as sad as it sounds I fu***ng buzz off what I do, and I don’t pretend to be good at many things, but I can proudly say I’m good at my job.
The before and after pics, the job satisfaction at the end, the transformation process but most importantly, client satisfaction.. all makes it worth while.
