From a tired gravel plot to a clean, modern outdoor space

I introduced structure with defined zones, a circular dining area, stepping stone pathway, and fresh lawn to soften the space. Finished with decorative gravel, timber edging, and planting to bring everything together.

WorldSkills UK Landscaping Final 2025 – Bridgend College

The competition took place in November 2025 at Bridgend College. We were given just 16.5 hours to build a complete garden, competing against seven other finalists — all working from the exact same design.

Starting with only the drawings, I dedicated countless hours to planning and preparation, breaking my schedule down into detailed 15-minute intervals to ensure every stage was carefully managed.

I’m proud to say that all the hard work, determination, and perseverance truly paid off — I came home with a Gold Medal around my neck. Without a doubt, it’s one of my greatest achievements to date.

Wow — I haven’t posted in ages! The past year has been incredibly busy, focused on growing and developing my client base while constantly working to improve my skills.

I’m proud to share that I completed my Landscaping Apprenticeship and passed with flying colours. I’m now continuing my journey by studying Level 3 Landscape Construction.

My proudest moment last year was being awarded a Gold Medal at the WorldSkills UK Landscaping Final 2025. I was also honoured to be nominated for the BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries) Student of the Year 2025 — and even more proud to have won.
