We have recently turned a once-overgrown, sloping garden into a beautiful, family-friendly space with three distinct levels. In the corner of the garden is a chic entertaining area with porcelain paving and a pergola. This area now has a spacious, flat lawn perfect for playing and relaxing. Archways and slat fencing highlight a 150-year-old wall. The lowest tier is now a fun safe zone for children to play. Brick raised beds around the garden make for easy gardening with a mix of shrubs and shady loving plants to complement the space.

We recently revisited a garden we landscaped 18 months ago, Batello Garden Design transformed this garden from a small sloping lawn to beautiful low-maintenance outdoor space. The project included the installation of porcelain paving, porcelain cladding, a timber pergola and an artificial lawn. The planting scheme was simple yet effective, focusing mainly on five plant species repeated throughout the garden. We’re pleased that the garden not only looks mature but continues to thrive and delight the clients long-term.

This garden was a new build with no character. We were asked to bring lots of interest and lots of plants to this space. The customers wanted to create a curvy wildlife friendly natural garden to complement their home. We also created a Japanese inspired garden to the side of their home. We used Lucca clay paver from London stone contrast with grey porcelain paving slabs. In the main garden we used Chelmer Valley cottage bricks to create raised beds, pathways and lawn edging. Two new paved seating areas are positions to face the morning sun and evening sun and are made using a mix of Raj and Camel sandstone.

This family garden was sitiuated on a new build estate which presented us with a blank canvas to work with. We built mild steal tiered raised beds, block rendered raised beds and several Porcelain paved areas. The owner wanted instant privacy and so we planted some large evergreen and deciduous trees. We also changed the angle of the garden to 45 degrees for a striking effect.

It's been far too long since any garden photos have been uploaded!

This coastal garden was completed in early spring and we waited to photograph so that the plants looked more established.

The client is very pleased with the finished garden and even had some custom made cushions to sit on their composite bench.
The main features in this garden are Ecospace charcoal decking, Chelmer valley cottage style cotswold brick, Kandla Grey porcelain paving, an artificial lawn and screen with envy panels.

Another recent transformation of ours. This sunken garden garden just goes to show what can be achieved in a small neglected area of your garden. This is now a perfect social area in what was once an unused space. Panther sandstone paving acts as both steps and seating. Oak sleepers have been used for the raised beds and western red cedar for the slatted screens and archway.
