Another garden transformation

We removed the old fencing, took down some rotten fencing and posts.
Installed some nice new posts and panels.
Took up all the old gravel and levelled the area.
Finished off with some nice new Cotswold chippings.

Another recent job completed in Haywood Village. We dug down and removed all the soil, laid hardcore, installed a charcoal brick edge with a stone border and installed a 5m wide premium artificial grass. Creating a mud free garden.

Job from this week… back to Loxton where we decorated upstairs. This time it’s the lounge. We over boarded the ceiling rather than tackle the existing wood chip. Skimmed and then decorated the room. We also installed a new oak window cill to match the rest in the house. Moved the tv and socket behind to hide wires and then installed new brushed steel sockets and light switches and fitted the customers new ceiling light. Will be back in October when the flooring and skirting has been fitted.

Another job completed back in June, this time in West Wick. 🔨

This one was a complete new patio area using silver grey 600x900 limestone slabs, finished with a charcoal limestone sett edging to give it a really clean border.

We also added a stepping stone pathway to the shed, surrounded by black ice chippings — which look especially good when they’re wet! 👌🖤

A really nice combination of colours and textures that has completely transformed the space.

Another job completed in Clevedon back in early July, and once again, we were working in some seriously hot weather! ☀️🥵

This one was to create a solid, perfectly level base ready for a new hot tub.

We removed the existing artificial grass and cut back the surrounding slabs to create a nice, straight edge. We then excavated approximately 200mm, installed a DPM membrane and filled the area with concrete, including reinforcing mesh for added strength.

The concrete was then finished smooth, level and ready for the hot tub to be installed. 👌

And this one isn’t finished yet… 👀

Stay tuned for the next stage — a whole new composite decking area is on the agenda to really finish off the space and complement the new hot tub. 🔨🔥

Another job completed back in mid-July, this time in Loxton. 🔨

A freshly plastered ceiling, completed on what was a very warm day! ☀️🥵

Despite the heat, we got it finished up nicely with a smooth, clean finish ready for decorating. 👌

Some more recent work completed in Bleadon, on a property where we carried out a loft conversion and extension last year. 🔨

This time we’ve been back to carry out a few more updates, including:

New front door and side panel – with the bottom section of glass still to be fitted.

New bay windows, along with all-new trims above to finish them off.

New bedroom window, with the ceiling and all walls freshly plastered.

We’ve also cut and prepared the new skirting, ready to be fitted once the new flooring is down.

It’s great to be back working on a project we originally completed and continuing to improve the property. 👌

Another job completed last week 🔨

This porch flat roof was in a pretty poor condition, with sections that were rotten and soft.

We stripped the existing roof back, replaced the damaged boards and then overlaid the whole roof with new plywood to provide a solid base.

We then installed a new EPDM flat roof system, complete with all new trims and flashings, giving the porch a clean, watertight and long-lasting finish. 👌

A little job we completed on Friday 👌

The existing decking and frame were poorly laid and had started to make the area look tired and unusable.

We removed the old decking and frame, installed a new w**d membrane and finished the area with Dorset Chard Flint gravel.

A simple change, but it’s made the space much cleaner, tidier and more usable. 👍
