Another week, another wildlife pond! This time it was a pond renovation. The wildlife and plants were removed and safely placed in a temporary pond. New liners added and internal walls built to reduce the angle of the sides and increase habitat for wildlife. Levels were taken to make sure there weren't any low points. New beach area created and a drystone wall built where an old waterfall used to be. Refilled with water. Planted up with waterlilies, marsh marigold and hornwort. Wildlife added back in and now to wait and enjoy as the pond matures Thanks to for inviting me to help on this job. Great work!

New wildlife pond in Wedmore! Loved working on this 4m x 5m pond. Great new place for wildlife and locals alike to go and relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
