Today is officially far too hot ☀️🔥

This was the 5am dog walk before the pavement turns into toast and the dog starts filing complaints.

If you’re out and about and need cooling down, we’ve got:
🧊 Iced tea
☕ Iced coffee
🍦 Ice cream
💦 And most importantly… a hose if you fancy a light spraying.

A small but important note:
Please don’t bring your dogs in today… not because we don’t love them (we do), but because if they’re melting on the end of a lead while you’re enjoying an iced latte, you will be heavily judged 👀🐶

Early walks, shady spots, plenty of water — look after yourselves (and your floofs).

Mondays and Tuesdays might be our closed days, but they’re never quiet ones.

Behind the scenes we’re busy baking, restocking, watering, cleaning, feeding animals and getting everything ready for the week ahead.

By the time we open again on Wednesday, the cake cabinet will be full, the animals will be fed (many times over) and everything will be looking lovely.

For now, it’s aprons on and kettles on ☕🧁🌿

Thank you so much to everyone who visited us yesterday and helped raise money for the NGS charities 💚

We’re back open today, the sun is shining, the cakes are out, the ice creams are cold and the animals are waiting for visitors! So if you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy the weather, pop by and support a fantastic cause at the same time 🌞🍦🐰

☀️ We’re open and making the most of the sunshine today here in Abbotsbury 🌿

Unfortunately the heat seems to have won the battle overnight and we’ve had a bit of a fridge/freezer failure 😅

So today we’ll just be serving drinks and ice creams while we get everything sorted.

On the plus side… it does happen to be perfect weather for an ice cream 🍦😄

Which means it’s officially acceptable to eat ice cream before lunch 🍦
