This recent bedroom install maximises storage in the often wasted space above the bed. We have also added drawers at the bedside which extend past the wardrobe above so allowing space for a bedside lamp, coffee cup or phone etc. This bedroom also has matching sliding robe doors which provide principal clothing storage area. All in all a great use of space in a timeless oak and cream colour scheme.

This client's old kitchen was probably there before the house was built 😂 so they justifiably decided it was time for a change as part of a programme of home improvement works being carried out by Gary and his team at Smart Home Improvements Dorset Ltd

There simply wasn't enough space to provide all that they wanted from their existing kitchen footprint, so over the course of a few meetings we came up with a design and made some non structural alterations which basically meant we were able to tick all the boxes.
With careful planning most kitchens can be fitted out with standard size units , but occasionally the ability to have units made bespoke pays dividends and this was just such an occasion. Understandably the client is absolutely delighted with the design, product quality and the professional installation work as well as the seamless way Helix and Smart were able to work together.

This client was about to start a new job which would mean working from home a lot more. So the brief was to create something contemporary, practical, have lots of storage and even more Wow Factor. Somewhere they would enjoy working from.

We discussed colours and textures and came up with a fairly bold but very stylish scheme which included bronze mirrored sliders with brushed black frames adjacent black oak grained wall units and black metal shelving frames. Below we mixed a reeded dark oak door with gold veined calacatta quartz worktop and antique brass handles.

Should the need arise this office can also be used as a one to one meeting space as there is room for a 2nd chair as the worktop is overhanging on the window side.

As ever a lot of thought went into the design and through constant communication we were able to produce a superb result which ticked all the boxes.

So this client wanted a media wall with ample storage options , display shelving and mood lighting. The sizeable lounge meant that we were able to go wall to wall (4m) without jeopardising the open feel of the room in any way.

Having spent time considering various designs and colour options, the client picked this contemporary light oak worktop with matching shelves and Cashmere carcases and doors.

We made the panel sections behind the TV match the fascia widths below and made the fly over panel 36mm in keeping with the open shelf carcasing.

We installed 3 sets of warm white mood lighting all of which are operated independently via remote control.

Power is provided in the worktops via these stylish Evoline power ports which look stylish when not in use but when flipped offer 2 plug sockets and a USB's port.

Needless to say to client was blown away by the finished result and as Helix is a business founded on going the extra mile and making it 'As good as it gets' this naturally gives us great job satisfaction too.
