A mixture of new and old.
These windows and doors were no longer looking their best and had even started leaking.
Using traditional techniques, we removed the old, failed painted seals from the glass and replaced them for a much neater, tidier finish that will completely seal out the elements.
The transformation was completed using a meticulous, multi-stage finishing process. After prepping the woodwork, the door was treated to fresh, clear glass—bedded down beautifully on traditional linseed oil putty—and finished with new glazing beads.
We then applied a durable, multi-layer paint system to ensure long-lasting protection against the weather. Finally, we refitted the original hardware alongside a brand-new door k**b to tie it all together.
