Installation of a stunning Victorian fire place.

This customer is in the process of renovating a Victorian town house back to its original splendour. One of the jobs we have done was to remove the smaller reproduction fire place and replace it with this spectacular marble piece from the correct era.

Garage refurbishment - This customers garage was starting to fall apart. He managed to source some decent second hand doors but they were the wrong size. I managed to deconstruct them and reduced the width to get a perfect fit. The garage is now secure again and fit for a few more years.

Ramp repair for a local beauty salon - someone had previously tried to fix the cracked ramp but unfortunately he turned up on a bike with a bucket and just poured very wet cement down the ramp! The result was very uneven, ran onto the footpath and cracked straight away. We dug out all the old concrete, levelled the sub-base and laid new slabs to match the surrounding area. The client now has a neat and safe access to her premises.

Have you got an odd job you need doing? Why not group them together and give me a call. 2 coat racks, one light and half a dozen pictures hung for a customer in Whitley Bay. That’s a lot of little jobs ticked off the list, ready for Christmas visitors…

Parquet floor restoration. This was a beautiful floor originally from Redby School Sunderland which was looking tired and scratched. After a very careful sand, repair and four coats of varnish it came up with a stunning deep lustre.
