Another successful damp proofing job completed for a client in Ramsgate.
This section of wall had been affected by penetrating dampness, which was caused by a broken and split downpipe, along with a blocked gutter. Unfortunately, the issue worsened over time and caused an internal damp problem. We removed all of the affected plaster and reinstated the walls with a sand and cement render followed by a 2 coat finishing plaster and new coving. The broken downpipe was replaced entirely, and the gutter is now clear.

Another damp proofing project now completed over in Eythorne. Contaminated plaster was removed from all affected areas and reinstated using a combination of sand and cement render, along with plasterboard installed using Dryzone’s DryGrip system⁠. All areas were then finished with a two-coat finishing plaster.
