Introducing our brand new lightweight superfine scarves; Cecil, Ruby and Wren.
Taking direct inspiration from one of Margo’s earliest spot designs, these three new scarves are available now in limited numbers.
A styles traditionally known as ring scarves as they are woven so finely that they can be pulled through a wedding ring.
And because we believe that each scarf really is a work of art, each Cecil, Ruby and Wren scarf carries Margo’s personal signature and arrives presented in a gift box.(swipe to see).

Artists Panel Discussion hosted by the Crafts Council

As a Champion of the Crafts Council, Margo has the privilege next week of taking apart in a panel discussion at STEAMhouse alongside Crafts Council UK editor Anna Fielding, director and consultant Lorna Haigh and British Wool marketing executive Louisa Knapp.
The discussion will be followed by a drinks reception and chance to connect with other makers, manufacturers and professionals in the sector.

It was such a pleasure welcoming 辻本理恵 RieTsujimoto to the studio back in July. Rie travelled all the way from Kyoto to meet Margo and browse our fabric collection in person.

Specialising in haute couture purses, Rie has selected fabrics from the Margo Selby collection to feature in her latest designs. It’s such a joy seeing pieces like our new velvets, Verne + Ghent, and our Taylor Chenille, reimagined as one-of-a-kind purses.

Follow 辻本理恵 RieTsujimoto to see her handcrafted artistry in action and we look forward to seeing our fabrics featured in her work.

Drawn from the archives… two timeless classics

At the studio we’ve always welcomed customers to let us know just which designs they like and this can sometimes include requests for fabrics we have woven in the past but are not currently stocking.

Two of these archive fabrics are now back: Kingsley (formerly known as Vintage) and Charleston. These fabrics have been rewoven for a special project and are now available again as cushions and fabric by the metre.

A spotty, multicoloured design in rich, contrasting earthy tones. The spots sit over blocks of shifting background colour, layering depth into the design so the eye keeps moving, with each circle individually carved.
