Eucalyptus crown reduction 🌿

Crown reduction carried out to a mature eucalyptus on the left-hand rear boundary on a residential property in Purley, reducing the canopy by approximately 3 metres.

Due to ornaments, established shrubs, and a pond beneath the tree, our team used controlled arboricultural zip-line techniques to safely lower branches without causing damage to the surrounding garden.

The works have improved:
• Structural balance
• Light levels
• Wind loading
• Long-term tree health

All pruning carried out sympathetically and in line with best arboricultural practice.

Mature Oak – Crown Reduction 🌳

Crown reduction carried out to a mature oak located on the right hand rear boundary of a residential property in Sanderstead, South Croydon, reducing the canopy by approximately 2.5–3 metres.

Works were completed to manage canopy size, improve light levels and airflow, and retain the tree’s natural form while supporting long-term health and structural integrity.

All arisings removed and site left tidy on completion.

Specialist arboricultural works delivered at Upton Hospital, supporting a managed estates programme coordinated by a contracts management partner.

Scope included crown reduction, basal growth removal, boundary clearance and full waste removal — all carried out within a live hospital environment.
