I made a personalised Strava route print for the runs you actually want to remember.

After finishing one of the hardest 10Ks I’ve ever done, I realised the medal, T-shirt and goodie bag would probably end up forgotten in a drawer.

So I decided to make something different.

You can connect your Strava account, upload a GPX file or draw your route manually, then turn a memorable run, marathon, hike or ride into a custom map print.

Choose your map style, route colour, text, size and whether you’d like it framed.

I’m would genuinely love for people to try it out and tell me what they think.

I found the real ‘Stairway to Heaven’ inside a mountain in North Wales ⛰️

You start by walking through a forgotten, rugged stone tunnel carved straight into the cliff face. As the light drops behind you and the air cools, every step pulls you deeper into the rock. When you finally step out at the top, the landscape completely shifts.

You emerge into an abandoned slate quarry that feels completely surreal. We’re talking deep caves, twisting tunnels, and an unbelievable view overlooking the lake that makes you stop dead in your tracks. North Wales truly hides some wild secrets.

Could you handle this daily commute? 🥾

Hiking through the forgotten slate quarries above Tanygrisiau in North Wales feels incredibly remote today, but 150 years ago, this rugged landscape was a bustling workplace. The Rhosydd quarry sits so high in the mountains that barracks were built for the workers, but the conditions were so harsh that many preferred the grueling hike from Blaenau Ffestiniog instead.

Imagine making that climb in Victorian work boots, only to start a shift working deep underground inside the mountain. When you hike here now, you aren’t just exploring Snowdonia; you are walking through the remnants of extreme, everyday lives.

I’ve always had a slight fear of heights, so sitting on the edge of this cliff is my own personal version of exposure therapy…

It is incredibly easy to let phobias shrink your world and keep you away from views like this.

It’s so much quieter here than the usual tourist hotspots, but the views are incredible. If you love peaceful coastal walks and scenic seaside getaways, this area is a must-visit

Exploring the hidden sea caves of Anglesey, Wales by paddleboard 🌊

Some of these entrances look tiny from the water… then open up into huge caves once you get inside.

Definitely one of the best parts of paddleboarding around Anglesey.
