More decorating this past week.
The ceilings and upper walls had fresh coats of emulsion.
Lower walls were stripped and re papered with all woodwork undercoated and finished in satin.
The fireplace also had a fresh coat of paint to revive it and leave it looking fresh.

Living room update.

This room has had a complete refresh and is now ready for the next stage.

The walls were stripped back, prepared properly and repapered using a paintable paper. Two new cupboards were built to improve storage and make better use of the space.

The original rosewood uPVC windows were painted white to brighten the room and create a cleaner, more modern look. The ceiling was painted white throughout, and the walls were finished in a durable matt paint for a hard-wearing, practical finish.

A great transformation that has really freshened up the space while keeping its character.

Finished the week fitting 7 doors on this one.

Pre-finished cottage style doors throughout, all finished off with black handles and hinges to tie in with the rest of the look. Really happy with how these turned out — clean, modern, and a massive difference to the space.

This one definitely kept me busy 😅
Not a single wall in this room was flat, level or plumb… but I do like a challenge.
Picture frame panelling with a dado rail all fitted, a few skirting boards replaced, new architraves, and full panelling throughout.
Had to sort plenty of cracks first — scrim taped and filled before getting any paint on.
Finished the walls and ceiling in a durable wipeable emulsion (not that you’re reaching that ceiling unless you’re about 10ft tall 😂), then all the woodwork undercoated and finished in satin.
Really happy with how this one turned out — nice clean, classic look in the end.

Fixing ceilings this week.
The hallway ceiling had a big "bow" in it due to a water leak so that was removed and replaced with new plasterboard. Any other cracks were taped up and the landing, stairway and hallway ceilings all freshly plastered

Another bedroom brought back to life ✨

Got this one all freshened up – water stains sealed, ceiling back to a clean white, woodwork undercoated and glossed, and finished off with new wallpaper to tie it all together.

It’s amazing what a bit of time and care can do. I do enjoy these kinds of jobs… nothing better than seeing a tired room turned into something fresh again 👌
