Today’s job - back on the domestic after a while away from it. Consumer unit upgrade and EV charger completed within the day along with NICEIC cert.

Out with the old and in with the new. Metal clad 2 tier consumer unit upgrade for this customer. Surge / rcbo protection. As well as reducing 3 boards into one… Now Giving one main point of isolation for the system. Labelled, Tested, certified and notified to building control. Get in touch for a quote . New strip and spot lighting with kinetic switching, along with discrete power outlets and tv with hdmi output for car garage tuning area 👌

Dedicated Computer / Coms Rack SPD sub board and 16a commando sockets installed by us this week.

This included a new SWA cable from the main section panel to the building. Reason being for this is, the distribution board adjacent had tripped from a boiler fault in the past causing trading to stop.

The bulk of the work was carried out during the days…. Once staff had left at 7pm, we then worked with I.T to switch over to the new supply.

On to the next one ☑️

Door Entry System with intercom / keypad fob entry installed for one of our regular customers. Providing extra security while staff are in late at night. 👍

External lighting job carried out at a lovely property in today. Soffit lighting front and rear & as there wasn’t soffits on the apex, we installed surface down lighting.

Todays job-

Consumer unit upgrade. The consumer unit had to be re located to the right hand side of the cupboard due to the existing being blocked by double sliding doors all its life.

All NICEIC certified & Notified to building control.
