Another lovely Cherry Laurel hedge put in for All Saints Church in Appley Bridge today in what is possibly the wettest conditions I've ever experienced. It went from dry and rocky to a boggy quagmire in 2 hours. But the end result is great and finishes off the Church's south boundary nicely.

Nice cherry laurel hedge put in for All Saints' Church Appley Bridge this week. Pretty mucky in this wet weather but it's transformed the boundary at this lovely little church. Big thanks to Ring O' Bells Nursery for the lovely potted and rootball laurels.

Sneak peak at what's on offer at Parbold Frost Fair Sage Green Garden stall on Sunday 20th from 11am-4pm. We have christmas planters, pots, gifts hanging baskets, Xmas wreaths, Xmas pots and grave pots as well as buxus trees, small potted Xmas trees and more.

Come down to Parbold village hall this Saturday and start your run up to Christmas off with beautiful handmade and locally sourced gifts from the artisan makers in the area.

It's been a hedges and topiary trimming day today 🥵🌲🌳

There was an air of end of summer vibes in the gardens today. Everything is still very dry and in desperate need of some more rain but whilst it's still warm and sunny, I'm not complaining too much 😜

DASIES

Leucanthemum × superbum, the Shasta daisy to be precise. A clump forming herbaceous perennial which grows well in most soils. A lovely addition to a garden border and who doesn't like a daisy!
