I've had a busy week renovating the entrance of this charming cottage! By reconfiguring the staircase, I've managed to create a cozy boot room that leads into the main kitchen diner. The addition of a sturdy 6x6” oak post to support the upstairs flooring has filled the space with even more character. Stay tuned for the full reveal of this cottage makeover - upcoming projects include skimming the entire house, constructing a fireplace, tiling the ground floor, and adding external lintels! 🤩 It’s an exciting one! Swipe to the end for the before pic!

And thats a wrap, after just over a year building this beauty from the ground up. It’s fair to say it’s definitely a one off with it’s spectacular angles, beautiful choices of decor and having the pleasure of wrapping it in 500 oak battens to complement the black aluminium gutters/facias/soffits and window trims. It really has finished it off.

3 (almost) finished bathrooms, 3 different looks! It’s been great tiling and decorating these over the last few weeks. My favourite has to be the green tiles in the main family bathroom, such a statement! Which is your favourite?

1800 self levelling tile spacers used, it was a big job but soo worth it! If you’re looking for a bathroom upgrade, get in touch for a quote 👌

A throwback to a kitchen and worktop I installed ready for the tiller to finish off. Solid oak worktops oiled up with some fresh osmo oil for a long lasting use that I completed last year. The kitchen was purchased from , really impressed with the quality of the kitchens I’ve installed from them.

In May this year, I completed a Fibre cement slate roof on a property I’ve been building. The roof featured valleys, Velux and solar panels. Then followed up by aluminium facias and soffits with no box ends, meaning I had to make some technical cuts where the gables come down to meet the rafter feet. This creates an ultra modern, seamless look.

There are so many elements of a new build that people don’t see! For example, these vaulted ceilings have 150mm of celetex between the rafters and 90mm over the top as well as double counter battening. It’s fair to say it’s certainly going to keep the heat in the winter 😰🥵

It’s been a busy week ticking more off the list;

Monday- spray mist coated the whole house
Tuesday- rolled all ceilings 1st coat and filled any blemishes.
Wednesday- sanded all the ceilings and walls and touched in filler .
Thursday - final coat on all the ceilings
Friday - Debonding mat on the ground floor and backer boards on upstairs bathrooms!

Now for the main event! I’ve been busy building this stunning 3/4 bedroom property on the edge of the New Forest for the last 10 months. From clearing the site just before Christmas, right up to now getting the paintbrush and rollers out. Seeing this all come together makes all the effort worth it. I will post some more pictures of the internal and externals up to this point! Just over a couple of months to transform this from a building site to a beautiful home for my clients🤞
