A few downpours where we huddled in the greenhouse of this stunning garden, open as part of .

Here are a few highlights from my trip to this weekend. I was drawn to the little details and hidden surprises nestled away in the stunning display gardens. It is just brilliant how the designers are able to do so much with a small space, very inspiring and I've taken a few ideas away to try myself.

1. The stumpery in 'A Garden for All' was just one of the fantastic ways to showcase how to live with nature. Designed by .

2. Planting combinations in 'Salty Towers' were well considered, blending climate-resilient planting with edible crops. Their design also reflected the traditional salt towers which can be found (what a wonderful rabbit hole that was to go down!)

3. Nestled amongst the veg patch of and 'Make a Metre Matter' garden was a discarded basket of pots... I felt this reflected my tendency to lose things in my own plot!

4. The experience was quite that! A great showcase of how to use containers in the garden.

5. and offered a masterclass in elegance through their planting scheme and choice of materials, truly gorgeous.

Not to brag, but I've only gone and got 90% in my 1st RHS test!! Ok, so I did have to resit the plant identification (lesson learned not to rush it and take time to look at the stick!), but I'm so pleased with this result... Only another 5 tests to go!!! 🌱

A little before and after, I can't wait for this border to settle in and flourish 🌱🌸

Not going to lie, it was a tough install with some very hard ground and I even found a buried egg!! Thanks to my little helpers, you'll make brilliant gardeners 💚



Full disclosure, I didn't paint the fence today (Ai did 😆)
