Organic gardening is as old as gardening. Chemical gardening is a fifty year fad that is, thankfully, on the way out. We offer an organic gardening service. This means we will not use any agro-chemicals in your garden. We will garden with the natural cycles of the natural world to create and care for beautiful gardens. We will demonstr
ate that by working with nature and the soil we can achieve great results. We will nourish and protect the soil using compost and mulch. The plants will then be strong and healthy and resistant to pests. We will use plant combinations that will deter and confuse insect pests. Caring for the soil and the soil organisms builds a healthy soil and the healthy soil will produce healthy plants that are not susceptible to disease. We will also look at the natural environment, and plant plants that will do well in that location, that soil type, those particular atmospheric conditions. We never let weeds go to seed. These are traditional methods. There is nothing new about organic gardening. It is tried and tested over thousands of years. If you have an apple tree, birds will come along and eat the eggs of caterpillars, hedgehogs will eat slugs, wasps eat all sorts of bugs. By supporting wildlife, you support the natural balance and there is enough for everybody. MAINTENANCE
We care for your garden by caring for your soil. We remove weeds when necessary, and minimise weed growth with mulching and making sure weeds do not run to seed. We also cut grass, cut edges, cut hedges, strim and prune as required. We help with plant selection and plant combinations to make the best use of your garden. NEW GARDENS
If required we will design and build an entirely new garden for you, or a new border in your existing garden. New gardens give us the opportunity to make an organic garden from scratch, and incorporate plant varieties and combinations that suit the natural conditions where you live.
