Today we carried out a full annual service on an 8-year-old Worcester Greenstar Combi boiler and magnetic filter — a great example of how proper maintenance keeps a system in excellent condition.

The magnetic filter was exceptionally clean, which is a testament to consistent annual servicing and the full powerflush we completed just 12 months ago 💧

The system install is now complete with the commissioning now all completed on this Daikin UK air source heat pump and 250 litre pre-plumb cylinder — ensuring the system is operating safely, efficiently, and ready for handover.

System commissioning checks are carried out to guarantee peak system performance:

“Whoa… that will never fit in there” 😅

The old cylinder isn’t designed to work with an air source heat pump we’ve replaced it with a larger 250L pre-plumbed Daikin UK unit, it might look oversized but its essential.

Air source heat pumps (ASHPs) run at lower temperatures than gas boilers and heat water more slowly, so your system relies much more on stored hot water rather than quickly heating it on demand like your conventional boiler.
